About
Mindy has been working in higher education since graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Spring 2018 where she double majored in Sociology and Criminology, Law, and Justice. Her previous experience with the university includes working with admissions, recruitment, and academic advising.
Just recently, she has earned her M.Ed. in Urban Higher Education from the University of Illinois Chicago, making her a double alum!
Throughout her time at UIC, Mindy had many mentors that have genuinely shown interest in her educational and personal success. Now, she wishes to return the favor by giving students the same genuine support — driven to represent, advise, and build pathways into higher education for our first-generation and underrepresented students.
