Live Career Coffee Chat- Daiana Quiroga Nevarez “Paving a Career in Student Affairs & Urban Higher Ed”

Join us for this Live Career Coffee Chat where we will be conducting an informational interview with Daiana Quiroga Nevarez.  Daiana is a UIC LAS alumna with a BA in English & Psychology.  She is a higher education practitioner with over seven years of experience in student affairs. She is a current graduate student under the inaugural MEd- Urban Higher Education program at UIC. Her research interest includes student and professional staff retention initiatives at the post-secondary level and parental involvement in the college choice process for first generation Latinx students.  Join us for this interview to hear from Daiana as she will share how she has leveraged her LAS degree in paving a career in student affairs, her current experience as a grad student in the Urban Higher Ed program, her research interests and career goals after grad school.
